People around the world are mourning the loss of Celebrity Chef, Anthony Bourdain. While in France to film for his role as host of the popular CCN show 'Parts Unknown,' he was found dead in his hotel room in an apparent suicide. Bourdain leaves behind a (recently divorced) wife and daughter as well as millions of shocked and saddened fans, acolytes and colleagues.

Known for his down-to-earth and at time gritty attitude towards all things relating to food and drink, he rocketed to fame after writing a piece for The New Yorker in 1999 that led to best seller, 'Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly.' After eight seasons hosting the Travel Channels 'No Reservations,' he went on to host CNN's 'Parts Unknown.'

This most recent loss once again brings mental health to the forefront, as we grapple with our societal views of mental health and the apparent supports and education needed.
