Eat and Drink:
Bagatelle is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year and will serve up a #FashionablyLate dinner price-fix menu during New York Fashion Week. The $45 3-course menu created by newly appointed Executive Chef Andrew Riccatelli, pairs bubbly with appetizers such as tuna tartare or salad bagatelle and a choice mouthwatering truffle chicken, salmon or gnocchi entrées. Add in caramel cheesecake or crème brulee for an additional $10.
Nerai offers a contemporary twist on sophisticated Greek dining in the heart of NYC and is ranked one of the top 25 in NYC according to TripAdvisor. It features a vivacious bar, elegantly appointed dining rooms in addition to Cava Nerai, providing two private dining spaces. Nerai’s flavourful fresh seafood focused dishes like pan seared king salmon, mediterranean bass and chic Greek classics like lavraki, spanakopita and layered cocktails are stripped down to their simple essence, revamped for a twist, then presented beautifully. A polished service team pays attention to each individual guest, striving to make their experience outstanding with no tipping required. Nerai provides guests with a peaceful escape from the hustle of Fashion week.
Sugar Momma is FiDi’s newest sexy dining and cocktail destination. The restaurant and bar is housed inside a cafe by day called Hole in the Wall but transforms at night when the red light gets turned on. A red neon sign that says "Hello Gorgeous" invites guests in to stay awhile and soak in the newest after-work hot spot. Favourite's include crispy pork belly with a soy glaze and the mommas martini which is made with vanilla vodka, passoa, passionfruit puree, prosecco and comes to your table on fire.
The Sanctuary Hotel, was designed to be a relaxing retreat and the intention is evident the moment you pass through the thick wood-carved door embellished with gold accents. Crystal chandeliers, tufted leather and a cozy nook with a fireplace create a welcoming oasis for guests. Restaurants and bars include Haven Rooftop, Sushi By Bou, Tender Steak & Sushi and Tender Lounge.
The Omni Berkshire Place Hotel in Midtown Manhattan has unveiled a limited time, New York Fashion Week exclusive cocktail, the Grey Goose La Vanille Espresso Martini. Available at Bob’s Bar, the Martini is inspired by a legendary New York City barman that created the cocktail for Naomi Campbell when she needed both a drink and energy to keep her going during fashion week. The smooth, rich flavours are a blend of Grey Goose La Vanille, single origin espresso, premium coffee liqueur and fleur de sel. The cocktail will be offered for $12 (normally $21), during happy hour (4-6pm) from Friday, September 7th to Wednesday September 12th at Bob’s Bar in honor of New York Fashion Week.
INTO Happy Hours at Arlo SoHo: From September 6-9 from 3-5PM, Arlo SoHo is partnering with invite-only app INTO to host an open happy hour for the app's models and celebrities, as well as the general public wanting to party like they're the "in" crowd at NYFW. INTO brings together fashion week's industry leaders, and hosts super-exclusive influencer lounges at Arlo SoHo for models on break between shows.
Blushington has teamed up with Erborian and Côte for an express beauty pop-up at Project by Equinox on September 7th-30th. Following the opening of their Brentwood, CA location, Southampton Pop-Up, and "Beauty Edit" concept at Loews Hotel Philadelphia, Blushington will be expanding their footprint by partnering with Equinox's experiential space, Project by Equinox. Experience modern express beauty services the Blushington way; makeup applications, skincare services, lash and brow maintenance, dry styling, quick côte manicures and more. All Project by Equinox class participants receive a complimentary Erborian sheet mask. The Blushington pop-up at Project by Equinox is conveniently located in the heart of SoHo and will be easily accessible during New York Fashion Week.
Six Summit Gallery presents artist Lina Condes, art and fashion icon Leonor Fini and pieces from The Lost Warhols during New York Fashion Week events powered by Art Hearts Fashion. Attendees including celebrities, gallerists, press and fashion experts will be able to mingle, watch multiple designers showcase their collections, and enjoy a selection of featured works by these carefully curated and selected artists while enjoying a selection of hors d'oeuvres & cocktails.
Beginning September 18th, Fashion in Art at The Met offers insights into the landmarks of costume history and examines the different materials used from the sixth century b.c. through modern times. Highlighting clothing represented in stone, wood, paint, and other media used throughout the Museum's collections, the tour covers trends and developments from all over the world starting in ancient Greece and continuing through the twentieth century.
