Soak up the sun at Sushi by Bou's Limelight Courtyard at Jue Lan Club in Chelsea (49 W 20th Street) complete with omakase seating and a full bar. Chef David Bouhadana invites 8 guests at a time to experience his 12 piece, 30 minute, $50 omakase. The courtyard is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and has a text-only reservation platform.  Sushi by Bou also has an outdoor pop-up on in Southampton with fresh fish flown in daily courtesy of Blade helicopters.

The Springs is a new and expansive Patio & Cocktail Bar located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (224 Franklin Street). The design and menu takes inspiration from Palm Springs circa the 1950’s. This uniquely large indoor/outdoor resort-like oasis serves elevated and playful cocktails designed by Sarah Boisjoli and tasty bar snacks that come from the retro food truck outside. The Springs offers creative cocktails, delish small plates and a full slushy cocktail program featuring an addictive Aperol Spritz, Sunburn, and Scooby Snack. Craft American Beers on draft and by the can are also on the menu. 

Don't miss Clinton Hall's outdoor beer garden in Williamsburg at the POD BK Hotel. The restaurant is part of The Lure Group’s growing hospitality portfolio, which includes Slate and Suite 36. The focal point of Clinton Hall is its expansive bar featuring 20 rotating super craft options on tap. Each beer is served precisely to each beer’s Brewmaster specs thanks to their on-site Flux Capacitor, the most advanced beer technology available today that regulates draft pressure, resulting in the perfect pour every time.  Clinton Hall is also known for its creative comfort food like their signature Doughnut Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup and over-the-top WTF Waffles for dessert.  

RFTP (247 Metropolitan Avenue) is located high atop the new Pod BK and just opened the public on July 12th. This beautiful bar and lounge comes with complimentary views of the surrounding Brooklyn neighborhood and the Manhattan skyline. With an expansive, landscaped terrace with comfy lounge seating and a covered bar that seats 20, the buzzy atmosphere makes it the perfect after-work and weekend meetup spot.  No shoes, no shirt maybe the only problems getting in here as the welcoming door policy makes this rooftop gem the al fresco destination for sipping Frosé while eating healthy bites from a shareable small plates menu.  

Surf City (1 Marin Boulevard) Beach Bar in Jersey City has a Key West attitude with a NY/NJ latitude.  The frozen drink machines work on overdrive throughout the summer season and this year Executive Chef Franco Robazetti is pulling out all the stops with a huge variety of surf and turf offerings, which is also what just won him a victory on "Chopped." The bar has gorgeous views of the NYC skyline and Statue of Liberty complete with a sandy beach, fire pit, shuffleboard court and adults only area.   

Zeppelin Hall (88 Liberty View Drive) is the Metropolitan area’s largest biergarten.  Bringing Germany to Jersey City, Zeppelin Hall boasts beer taps throughout the venue and a huge outdoor garden where over six hundred guests can gather under the stars to drink, eat. Zeppelin Hall acts as a living room for the neighborhood and is conveniently located at the Jersey Avenue Light Rail stop. 

Freehold (45 S 3rd St) is reminiscent of a bustling boutique hotel, minus the actual hotel rooms.
