Palace Hotel Tokyo Conducts Private Marriages at Happy Hour

TOKYO (March 25, 2019) — The prescient bartenders of Palace Hotel Tokyo, who know a thing or two about couples who should or should not be together, have deployed the same powers of perception to flights of cocktails and wines to bite-sized sweets and savouries. Through May 31, between 5 and 8 pm, the Mariage Privé shares champagne and bellini, as well as cocktails (including a smoked chocolate martini), with appetizers on a graduated scale of commitment between JPY 3,600 (US $32) per person to JPY 13,000 per person (US $117). The appetizers include dishes like caviar bottarga capellini, fresh seafood salad, diced steak, and the dessert of the day.

The Reverie Saigon Takes to the River in 60 Feet of Italian Elegance

HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam (March 25, 2019) — The hotel that redefined high-style accommodation in Saigon is on the verge of redefining a high-end appreciation of the storied Saigon River. Though it won’t come cheap. Last month, the Reverie Saigon launched an eponymous 60-foot Monte Carlo 6 yacht that will cruise the river for trips of two-and-a-half, four and eight hours at a price point that starts at a cool 50 million and climbs to 130 million -- million Vietnamese dong, that is.  The three inaugural voyages chart journeys that drink in the wonders of the city’s dynamic thrust for the skies and the sublime charms of its colonial-era French architecture. Further from the heart of the burgeoning metropolis, the yacht threads the natural splendor of the tropical country’s verdant delta. For more information, click here.

Set a Course for Spring with Blossoming Tokyo

TOKYO (March 25, 2019) — New England has its fall foliage, Holland its tulips and Provence its lavender, but none can compare to the cherry blossoms that open every spring along Tokyo’s avenues and waterways. Palace Hotel Tokyo's Blossoming Tokyo package introduces guests to the beauty of sakura (cherry blossoms). The one-night stay includes two hours of privately chauffeured transportation (within Tokyo’s 23 wards) and the company of a private guide to introduce visitors to the city’s most sought-after destinations during this especially Instagram-worthy season. Guests will also receive a limited edition sake cake and breakfast for two. At an additional charge, the hotel’s concierge team can also arrange the company of a photographer to shoot guests among the blooms (and dressed in traditional kimono, if they’re so inclined). Blossoming Tokyo is available from 18 March - 12 April, 2019. Rates start at JPY124,400 (based on double occupancy).
