two frosted donuts on a pink background

There's something about staying in a hotel that makes us feel on top of the world, and we're thinking it has a lot to do with the fluffy robes, soft sheets, and on-demand room service.

As if it could get any better, a hotel in California is now offering a 10-pound donut on their room service menu. It's part of the DoNut Disturb package at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort in Palm Desert. The hugely-proportioned offering costs $219 per night, and includes a guest room, $50 USD hotel credit per night towards golf, spa, or dining, and (of course) that Insta-worthy donut.

Prepared by the hotel's pastry chef, it's worth noting that the donut is not technically a donut. Rather, it's a cake designed to look like one, complete with sweet cream frosting and colorful sprinkles. You could call it a hoax, or you could acknowledge the problematic logistics of deep frying an actual 10 pound donut. Makes sense, after all.

Whichever way you see it, the treat looks delicious, and comes with milkshakes that you can dip it in as you indulge. All we can say for sure is that with a treat that size, we definitely DoNut want to be disturbed.
