If recent events have got you thinking of moving up north to the land of snow and maple syrup, you’re not alone. And while Canada is the spectacular Trump-free wonderland everyone knows and loves, it’s a hard choice of which Canadian city to live in; with Toronto, Vancouver, and Calgary making up three of the five most livable cities in the world, it's a tough pick.

Thankfully Via Rail has released some ultra-low fares for its four-night, three-day trans-Canada train journey. Aptly named “the Canadian”, the route winds 2,775 miles through the most stunning sights the Great White North has to offer, including Sudbury Junction, Sioux Lookout, the prairie provinces, Edmonton, the Rockies, Kamloops, and Jasper National Park. Did we also mention it’s only $397?

And that’s not all: travelers can kick back and relax throughout the ride from Toronto to Vancouver with complimentary champagne, dine on wonderfully hearty Canadian meals, and gape at endless breathtaking scenery through the train’s domed windows. One catch though: the whole journey is strictly wifi-free. But with all the offline perks this trip offers, we'd consider this as a free digital detox.
