After the success of New York's rooftop igloos and London's snow globe pop-ups, Chicago's City Winery is bringing the trend to town. Sitting right on the riverwalk, the transparent domes provide a cozy rain-free environment to sip your wine and enjoy your hours-d'oeuvres without compromising the waterfront views.

Available for 90 minute bookings at a time, each structure fits up to six guests and comes with complementary heaters, bluetooth speakers, cheese and charcuterie boards, and three glasses of wine per guest. That's right, three glasses. Talk about getting classy-drunk – where else can you sip fine local vintages along the water with pristine views of the Chicago skyline?

The dome pop-up will run until April 30, and are open from 11am to 7pm daily. Reserve your spot before it's gone; chances to escape the spring rain while being outside at the same time don't come around too often.
