Lovers of Denmark's capital city, Copenhagen may have heard of one of its popular attractions, Tivoli Gardens amusement Park — but unless they visited post-April, would have been turned away. Until now.
Typically closed between New Year and Easter, the Gardens will be open throughout February thanks to a very special event. Tivoli Gardens is celebrating its 175th birthday this year — bringing with it a whole host of wintery extras — from icicles and snowflakes, to snowmen, and even the Snow Queen. Yep, you'll be feeling like it's Christmas again in no time.
There will also be an ice skating rink in front of the Arabian-inspired, Nimb Hotel, as well as plenty of rides, and the newly opened Tivoli Food Hall. The park will also take part in the premier of the Copenhagen Light Festival, where winter-themed projections will transform the Nimb Hotel into a stunning ice castle.
Visit Winter in Tivoli from February, 2 to 25. For more information, check out the website.
