If you’ve ever wanted to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most endangered species, this exclusive new lodge offers visitors the opportunity to do just that. The first of its kind in the UK, this luxury hideaway is situated inside the Port Lympne animal reserve in Kent, where visitors can literally sleep beside tigers.
Separated by a reassuringly thick pane of glass, you can stay in four-person, two-bedroom custom lodge, while admiring these majestic animals in all their beauty. Complete with log burning stoves and contemporary furnishings, visitors can enjoy a large balcony with a view that stretches across the English Channel.
Guests are also supplied with a golf buggy to get around, as well as being able to rent night vision binoculars to view the animals after hours. During your stay at Port Lympne, you can take a safari ride, visit the landscaped gardens and maze, and visit the location’s newest attraction, Dinosaur Forest.
All of the profits go straight back into research, so rest assured you’ll be helping endangered species in the UK and further afield. What’s not to love? Tiger Lodge costs £375 per night during low season and from £800 per night in high season.
