Well-known for its windy and rainy weather, Northern Ireland isn't exactly the ideal location to spend a weekend camping. But being home to some of the world's most magnificent forests, it would be a shame to spend all your time indoors. Taken glamping to a whole new level
Following in the footsteps of Iceland's Bubble Hotel you can now spend the night in one of seven 'Forest Domes' at the Finn Lough Resort, located in the Northern Irish town of Enniskillen.
Featuring 180-degree transparent walls, guests can fall asleep while watching the stars, before waking up to explore over two miles of trails, home to a variety of wildlife, as well as mountain biking trails that run through lakes and castle ruins.
Rest assured, you won't be sleeping on the floor either. Each dome includes a four poster bed and heated mattress, ensuite bathroom, wooden floors with electric heating, and even a complimentary breakfast Nespresso coffee machine.
Of course, spending the night in such unique conditions don't come cheap, with per night rates starting at £225 ($318). But that's the price you have to pay for ultimate luxury. Did we mention there's a spa with a float bath, sauna, and hydrotherapy pool? Find out more, or book on the Finn Lough Resort website.
