You've heard of ski hotels — but this one takes the concept to a whole new level, for the first time, allowing guests to ski straight from the hotel roof to the slopes.
Brought to you by the same team that came up with the incredible Lego House, as well as the rather uniquely shaped Via 57 West, the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), the Hôtel des Horlogers replaces traditional floors with zig-zag slopes on the hotel exterior, sitting in the unspoiled Vallée de Joux between the Jura Mountains Ranges.
Commissioned by Swiss luxury watchmaker, Audemars Piguet, once built, the hotel will have a floor space of 7,000 sqm, as well as featuring two restaurants, a bar, a spa, and a conference center.
Hôtel des Horlogers is currently under construction and expects to welcome its first guests in 2020. For more information, or to check out other unique designs by BIG, visit their website.
