Let’s hope you’re better at saying “wingardium leviosa” than Ron was, because next May, your magic skills could be put to the ultimate test. Mimbus Mimbletonia Association is opening an official school for witchcraft and wizardry (yes, exactly like Hogwarts), and as a plus, it doesn't take walking through a wall to get there.

Housed in the giant Château de Jolibert in Bourgougnague, France, the magical first semester will take place from May 25-28, 2017. Upon arrival, students will go under the sorting hat, to be effectively placed in either Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Slytherin, or Ravenclaw. From there you'll be able to enroll in classes, with choices from botany and spells to potions and quidditch. No, it won't include any actual flying, but it's still a million times better than running in circles like your typical gym class.

This school is a bit more selective than the tradtional acceptance letter on your 11th birthday, though. Each session only has room for 100 students, accepting those over the age of 18 (or 16 up if you have permission from the old folks). Tickets are available beginning December 10 for 185€ ($200 USD) if you can swing it, but there's still a pretty big hurdle lurking that money can't cover — you're going to have to speak French. Yup, every potion, class, and spell will be en Français. Looks like Canadians have a better chance than we do at this point, but where there's a wand, there's a way.
