If you grew up in the 90s, it's almost a certainty that you've watched and adored Pretty Woman at least 20 times. That is, unless you've been living under a rock.
Fans of the classic rom-com will be delighted to hear that they can soon relive the magic of Edward and Vivian's unconventional love story live on stage. That's right kids — Pretty Woman The Musical is coming to town. So get excited!
Featuring Tony Award winner, Steve Kazee as Edward, and Samantha Barks as Vivian in her Broadway debut, the musical will be scored by none other than Bryan Adams, with choreography by Jerry Mitchell (who has previously choreographed Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde and Hairspray, among other things).
The world premiere play is set to open at Chicago's Oriental Theatre on March 13, before moving to NYC in NYC in July. You can now buy tickets to the Broadway preview (beginning July 20), or wait for tickets to opening night on August 16. Check out the website for more information.
