There are many factors which need to be considered when weighing up the pros and cons of moving to a new city, from the cost of living and the quality of life, to the job prospects and even the weather. And according to a new survey by HSBC, those who want the best of everything had better pack their bags and head to Singapore.
Yep, according to expats Singapore is the world’s best overall destination for the third year running. This country continues to rank highly across a range of economic, experience and family criteria. 75 percent of people who live there praise it for its clean and safe open spaces — compared with just 25 percent of expats in other global cities.
More than a quarter (26 percent) of expats here feel their host city offers an excellent education system and a whopping 82 percent of residents report a greater sense of safety than they did at home.
