If flying business class at least once in your life is high on your bucket list, there’s one thing you can do to secure your bargain ticket; memorize the face of this travel writer.

After being inspired by Richard Branson, who he overheard offering an economy traveller his seat in business class, Gilbert Ott, who runs a travel deals website called God Save The Points, is offering anyone that spots him at the airport, at the counter, or even when boarding, the opportunity to switch seats with him.

“That’s right. I’ll happily trade my bed for whatever seat you have, even on long international flights,” he said.

“We started this site to give the very best free travel information to as many people as possible and this seems like a pretty fun (and funny) way to connect with the people who make it happen, bringing new people in. I’ll probably come to regret this, especially on one of the countless 10+ hour flights I have upcoming.”

He will be updating a map of his upcoming travels on Twitter and on his website and posting hints on Twitter and Instagram

And if that wasn’t generous enough, Gilbert is also giving one lucky winner and a guest the chance to win two business class tickets “anywhere in the US that Alaska Airlines flies, or on a mutually agreeable intra European route that British Airways flies.”
