In an attempt to woo back millennials, Hilton has launched their first range of budget hotels with all rooms costing under $100.
Featuring large communal lobbies complete with snack bars and funky decor, guests will also have access to pool tables, gyms and a 24/7 bar, serving craft beer among other specialties.
And to appeal to the millennial market, Tru hotels will offer ‘digital keys’ allowing guests to unlock doors directly from their smartphones.
Rooms are smaller and more plain than the average Hilton suite, with hotels being built in less-flashy locations, like suburban highway exits to allow for lower costs.
The first Tru hotel opened in May in Oklahoma City, and there are more than 150 locations planned before the end of 2019. Find out more on their website.
