Oh Canada, how we adore you. Fresh mountain air, painfully polite residents, and the home of fries, gravy and cheese curds — there's not much you can fault the world's second largest country on. But if there's one thing it's lacking, it's cheap flights.

Sure you can bag yourself a bargain seat across to the States, but what about if you're curious to explore other cities within Canada itself?

New airline, Swoop, the little sister of budget carrier WestJet, has spotted a gap in the market and is now selling seats from Abbotsford, British Columbia, to Hamilton, Ontario for as low as $7.49.

That being said, you'll need to be prepared to pay for extras like a carry-on case, seat selection, and food and beverages, but compared to competition, you're still saving a ton of cash.

Swoop officially launches in June, at which point it will begin offering services between five Canadian cities: Abbotsford, Edmonton, Halifax, Hamilton, and Winnipeg. Until then, see if you can snap up those ultra-low fares.
