We all know what it's like to be sucked into YouTube. One minute you're looking up a specific music video and the next you're hours deep into cat video montages that, while funny, are a complete waste of time. Now thanks to Icelandic tourism, however, you can actually get something more than entertainment out of your video watching process.
Okay, so it's not of cats, but Inspired by Iceland's videos are still super entertaining. The goal is to teach travelers about Iceland's culture through a series of videos, touching on everything from how to avoid hot tub awkwardness to how to take safe selfies throughout their dangerous landscape. Yes, really.
Titled Iceland Academy, the videos end with a series of quizzes to make sure the knowledge actually soaked in, and if you do well, you could win a trip to the land of fire and ice itself.
We don't know about you, but getting a free trip just for watching (super entertaining) videos doesn't sound too hard to do. And as a bonus, if you get the trip you'll be fully prepared to fit in — right down to hygiene at the hot tubs.
