Hold onto your balls, ladies and gentlemen, because the best bar ever just popped up in London. That’s right, the UK officially has a ball pit bar, and it's calling to us with all of its nostalgic glory.
Ballie Ballerson is open until at least April at 79 Stoke Newington Road, Dalston, and features two floors. The top is a restaurant serving ball-themed dishes like meatballs, cheese balls, and pancake balls, as well as beer, wine, and retro cocktails. The floor below is the actual ball pit, where you can swim in a chest-deep pool of about 200,000 balls, and jam out to techno funk music with inflatable toys.
We know what you're thinking... adults or not, that's got to get messy. Luckily the GobbleMuffin, which cleans balls at an astounding 18,000 balls per hour, takes care of any and all spills. So in that respect, why not go for the bottomless brunch option — on weekends for £35, you can get unlimited prosecco and punch for an hour in the ball pit, followed by bottomless spaghetti, meatballs, and more drinks upstairs for an hour. Should you prefer to keep things simple, general admission tickets range from £5 to £29.
