Harry Potter

If you're a Harry Potter fan, there's literally nowhere more magical than London. Not only is it home to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour (containing everything HP behind-the-scenes) and the Harry Potter pop-up shop (with graphic design work from the film sets), but it's also the location of the Georgian House Hotel.

Yep, this boutique B&B is not just in a crazy convenient central location, but it contains The Wizard Chamber – a room that's pretty much as cool as it sounds. Well, it's cool if you manage to actually find it: it's concealed behind a bookcase door, and requires a candlelit passageway walk to get to. Upon arrival into the gothic-designed room, you'll feel quite literally like you're in Hogwarts, or a swanky dormitory within it, to be precise. Each wizard room has a ton of castle-like details, from stained glass windows and four-poster beds, to cauldrons in fireplaces and a bunch of other wacky artifacts. The rooms on offer also come with a full English breakfast, which really doesn't relate to magic whatsoever, but is a nice added bonus.

So, if you're still bitter your Hogwarts acceptance letter hasn't arrived, console yourself with the fact that for £309 per night ($385 USD) the Harry Potter experience can be yours. In all honesty though, the rest of the hotel is really worth a mention. Built in 1851, it offers up five stars and 63 bedrooms and apartments. The food is all as local and made-from-scratch as can be, and there's gorgeous 19th century architecture and quirky touches to be found throughout. All that's left to say is Accio, Georgian House Hotel.
