If you've ever experienced design envy while staying at an Airbnb, you know how much it can suck sometimes to return to your own IKEA furniture. Now thanks to a certain Los Angeles listing, you can turn that envy into inspiration by buying everything you love and bringing it back home with you.
OURS Living is a new hospitality concept by founders Ricky Chan and Brendon Garner. Having recently opened their first property in LA, Home no. 001 can be booked through Airbnb, and allows guests to buy almost everything they interact with during their stay.
Located in the Arts District, the gorgeous $250 USD per night loft is an open-layout concept with a queen bed, a pullout sofa, high ceilings, and tons of natural light. You’ll enjoy complimentary coffee, Grown Alchemist toiletries, and an insanely-comfy Casper mattress and pillow. There’s also a floor-length mirror, Malin + Goetz candles, and potted plants throughout, and all of ranges from $18 to $3,500. It's a genius idea, no doubt, since you actually get to use the products before deciding if you want to buy them. If it turns out you have to have something, you can choose between having the item delivered to the loft during your stay, or to your own place.
Homes No. 002 and 003 should be coming in the next few months, and eventually, OURS Living would like to expand into other cities as well, like San Francisco and New York. Considering we're already in love with everything from the LA apartment, chances are we're going to have to make some more room in our own.
