Los Angeles is one big ass city. Locals who spend all day in their cars getting from A to B will know what we're talking about, but for everyone else around the world it's hard to really visualize. Unlike New York, it's sprawling and spread out, with 75 miles dedicated to coastline alone. But here, one rather clever videographer, Joe Capra, has compiled a six-minute time-lapse clip showcasing the beauty and diversity of this vast city.

The video took two years to create, with Capra using an assortment of tech tools to stitch each frame individually himself. Honestly, if a picture speaks a thousand words, a video speaks billions. On that note, we're going to shut up and just let you watch it for yourself.
