As we begin to roll into the holidays, we also begin to break out our favorite holiday movies. One classic series that every self-respecting 90's kid will remember is Home Alone, when little Kevin McCallister beats up the bad guys (read: burglars) after his parents accidentally leave him behind on their trip.
Now, you can spend the holidays just like Kevin in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, at The Plaza hotel in — you guessed it — New York City. It's been 25 years since the movie made its debut, and the hotel has launched a perfect package in celebration. For $895 a night, guests can rent the hotel's movie-inspired package, which includes a ton of movie swag plus an "over-the-top" ice cream sundae like the one Kevin had delivered via room service. Add-on's like a four-hour limo tour of the city and passes to the top of the Empire State Building can also be included in your stay.
If, unlike Kevin, you don't have your dad's credit card to take the financial hit, don't worry — guests don't have to spend the night in order to take part in the activities. A dining experience will be available in the hotel's restaurant where guests can devour gourmet versions of foods kids in the 90's loved (Sunny D cocktail, anyone?) and photo ops will also be on hand. May we suggest posing with that iconic shocked face Kevin sports on the movie cover? You know the one.
