New York City is getting some delicious sweetness and heat for the last days of winter — and we're not talking weather. Nope, this event is specifically for food-lovers — or those who want to give back to the community, of course.
This Sunday, March 4, Grand Bazaar NYC is organizing a special Sweet & Spicy Bazaar at its weekly market, and 100% of the net profits will benefit over 4,000 public school children in the local community.
Visitors can purchase from a huge selection of yummy treats, from Jessies Nutty Cups' handmade peanut-butter cups to freshly-baked smores cookies from The Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop. Fancy something savoury? You can turn up the heat with flaming hot sauces and salsas from Trade Street Jam, Hells Kitchen Hot Sauce, Mama Margarita Salsa, or indulge on spicy Japanese Karaage chicken from Tojo Kitchen.
Additional vendors include sweet empanadas from The Empanada Sonata and sweet cereal inspired cookies from Cereally Baked in flavors like Fruitfetti and Cinnamon Sparkler. Sweet and Salzig, FilFil Foods, Pepplish, Rubylu Confections, and Drink Hottie Tottie will also be on hand.
