Both business travelers and digital nomads know the struggle of finding a cool, quiet place to work in. Sure, hotel rooms and basic coffee shops do the job, but can you? You want quiet, but social; simple, but creative. In Paris, a new place has popped up suiting all of these needs simultaneously, and we're totally thrilled with both the design and concept.

A word-play between 'co-work' and 'quirk', Kwerk is the latest co-working space to grace the city. Designed by Congo-born architect Albert Angel, the idea was to favour interactivity by creating a space with a collective consciousness. The result? A 23,680 square-foot, multi-level building that features a yoga and meditation studio, showers, meeting rooms, lounges, a bistro, kitchen facilities, two terraces, and high-end furniture. All in all, the space fits a massive 300 people, snuggling them tightly together in Paris' 8th arrondissement.

Having opened this past September, it will be the second location and flagship to the original Kwerk, which was opened in Boulogne-Billancourt in 2015. Whether you're staying on the outskirts of Paris or right in the heart, there's a space for you, and it's ready to get to werk.
