When you think of South Africa it's likely that a palate of blues and greens come to mind – inland safari plains as far as the eye can see, coastal cliffs stretching for miles, forests and winelands dotted throughout, and spectacular cities to add some urban grit. To clarify, there's a whole host of colors too, thanks, in part, to the incredible game on offer at Kruger National Park (leopards, lions, and more) and an array of spectacular sunsets visible from all corners of the country.
In fact, there's very little the country lacks. Cape Town is one of the world's most unexpectedly genius foodie destinations, a port city in the shadow of towering Table Mountain. Johannesburg, the biggest city, is one heck of a vibrant metropolis. And the entire Western Cape (the south-western region) is brimming with cute historic towns – Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl, for starters.
But you don't want to hear names, you want images. Luckily, we're here to help out - here are 14 awe-inspiring Instas of Africa's southernmost tip.
