Maybe it's just us, but there's been a lot of ridiculous flight deals flying across the internet these days. There was the one from Vancouver to China for less than $400, another from the US to the Caribbean ranging in the $200's, and of course those sweet, sweet, transatlantic deals that come in at a bold $99.
Well fellow travelers, it's back and better than ever. Scandinavian airline Primera Air will be offering round-trip flights from the US to Europe for just $99 in May of 2018. While you may not be able to get your hands on it quite yet, there's one significant silver lining to the situation: you actually have time to think things through and plan your trip. Yeah — this time you don't need to do a mad scramble for your credit card in an attempt to get the deal before it's gone.
The flights will depart from Boston Logan and Newark airports, with flights out of Newark running daily and those out of Boston running four times per week. As far as destinations go, travelers can choose between either Birmingham or London Stansted airports in England, or Paris Charles de Gaulle airport in France. Ah yes, London or Paris for just $99.
Of course, all budget airlines have their catches. The cheapest ticket on Primera Air allows for only one carry-on item with a maximum weight of 22 lbs, though upgrading to a Comfort ticket will include a checked bag, carry-on item, priority seating, and an in-flight meal. Other luxuries like additional amenities and refundable cancellations will cost you extra, though on the whole, these tickets are gold. Just pack light and don't cancel, yeah?
