Norwegian Air regularly drops some pretty jaw-dropping flight deals (their recent Scotland fares, for example) but they've really outdone themselves this time. The low-cost airline released roundtrip flights from multiple American cities to Oslo for dates spanning from March 2016 all the way to January 2017, from as low as $243 USD.

The trick to getting these fares is to first use Google Flights to find the cheap dates, then book through the Norwegian language side of their website. Usually $750 and above for the same roundtrip, it now ranges between $243 USD to $324 USD for commuters from Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, New York City, Oakland, and Orlando.

Just keep in mind that checked bags do cost an extra $45 USD each way, but if you pack light in your carry-on – or in your 'airport jacket' – that should be no issue.

Note that fares stated are subject to availability and will likely last a few days – so act fast, and make sure to sign up for VIVA's newsletter to get the best flight deals delivered straight into your inbox every week.
